Was wondering if WB has gotten the fabric in and started production on the second round of tarps using the 30d material like their site says. I'd love a bushwack superfly, but the 20d fabric has me quite hesitant to its durability.

I'm happy with the 20D poly so far...after using the 30D nylon for over 5 years. But I can understand your hesitation for the very slight increase in weight just to be safe. I'm curious to see what they decide to keep as I understand only one will be used eventually.
We now have the Bushwack camo in both 20 and 30d poyester
Awesome thanks for the update! I assume that the 30D silpoly weighs the same as the 30D silnylon. Order is out!

Nobody should be scared away by the 20d version of these tarps. I have had mine out on a couple trips since getting it. One in a very rainy, blowing rain, windy night. I had no reservations whatsoever about the durability of the 20d. It preformed admirably.
Also if anyone is wondering, the evergreen color looks GREAT!
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
I dunno, 1oz difference doesn't seem worth risking.
Here is a couple pictures of my evergreen superfly from a couple weeks ago.
The last one is it rolled up on top of my pack, in Warbonnet snakeskins. It packs down pretty small for such a big tarp.

so, 20d?.. 30d?.. what's the up/down on either of these?
I'm more interested in Silpoly...
