Anybody use Dutch's glow-in-the-dark Micro Cord (https://dutchwaregear.com/micro-cord.html) for corner tie-outs/ridgeline?

I currently use the grey lash-it but am looking for an option w/ higher visibility. I'm debating between Reflect-it and the glow Micro cord.

These all work good for guy lines that reflect at night.

The Z-line Dynema Cord is what we use...the 1.25mm line. It is a bright florescent color and shows up well at night even though it's not reflective.

This cord is great because it holds knots and it has a stiffness to it that prevents it from getting tangled up. After wrapping it up (when stowing away the tarp) you can fold it over and it will hold the line from unraveling.

I used to use #18 braided nylon masons line in HiVis yellow because it was a few bucks for a eleventy seven thousand foot roll at Home Despot. It was a bit of a PITA, so I switched to the orange 1.8 mm Reflect-it that Dutch carries...Much better!

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.

Same here, on the first part. I read that it was super light (true) and highly visible (true, even if not reflective). But I found it terrible for friction knots and it tended to fray badly when pulled over bark etc. I switched to blaze orange 325 paracord (thinner than regular paracord) and am happy. Comes in about 50 ft hank for $5 and includes a little carabiner. Nice!

I use Nite-eze reflector cord but not really happy with it. Long ago, when just starting out (after tripping over my guy lines several times) I went crazy and bought a bunch of those packs of four 8 ft cords, each with a figure-9. Problem is, the reflective material imbedded in the cord "sticks" and doesn't allow knots (taut line hitch, etc.), or the figure-9, to slide easily up and down the cord. But it's a minor concern and I made my investment.

I have been using Zing-it for couple years, but recently made a switch to reflect-it from dutchware and so far, I like the reflective property at night.

What I use is 2 options. And I think both options are the better choice for how I use them.

The 2 tarp ridgelines I have 20' of zingit with either a Dutch wasp or a fly as the tensioner for the top portion of the tarp.

For the corner or other pullouts I use Lawson line and use simple hitch knots and just adjust or redo the knot as I adjust things. I prefer the Lawson line because zing it and knots I do not enjoy or recommend in the least.

Lawson line is reflective and made in USA

I've just phased out my 2.8mm spyderline ridgeline to 1.8mm spyderline. In turn, my 1.8mm spyderline guylines have been transitioned to 1.25mm z-line. I'm testing it out this week; so, hope all will be well..

Enjoying less bulk, but I may go further and use only half of my snakeskins.

I got us all those four packs for Christmas to go in the stockings as we got WBBB hammocks for ourselves last year. I am having the same issue. I was checking out someones reflective cord at the NEHHA hang and it was so smooth compared to the annoying NiteEyes crap!!! I'll be ordering something else and replacing all ours at some point soon.
