CRL with a snake skin

I have always fished my CRL through my snake skin, but with the varying tree sizes I am always moving the speed lock PRussik things. I feel like I'm doing it wrong. Can you string up your CRL, then attach your snake skinned tarp? It seems like there would not be enough room for the snake skin to bunch up.

I attach my snake skinned tarp exactly how you asked about. I run my CRL from tree to tree then attach my my tarp using mini-UCRs. I have enough room for the double-ended stuff sack on one end of the tarp and the snake skin (single) on the other end with no problems.

The only way I can see to do this with my tarp is to make an 8 - 12 inch LashIt dog bone extension for both ends of the tarp. I have split rings on the tarp guy points as a "first point of failure" and the HH skins taper down too much. Also, I keep the line separate from the tarp so the very end of the tarp would have to be at the very end - and sticking out of - the skin. I figure an 8 - 12 inche extension is enough for the skin to gather up on and will stick out the tail of the skin.
