Cool I just bought a Snugpack jungle hammock

Any opinions? I have 2 crazy hammocks bought on Amazon as was this one. It is basically the same except that it has 2 sets of holders for the bug net that spreads it out a little more.

Not sure exactly what the question is here but

If they are comfortable to you, then win win.

If you really need more input than that, pick the one you like best or take both, show up at a hang somewhere, and compare against the rest. I've never seen an import that compares to any of our US HF Cottage Vendors. I'd certainly be interested to see one.

Nothing wrong with having more than one hammock around.

This was my first hammock. At only 9' long, I have a tough time getting a comfortable lay. My girlfriend uses it now and likes it for the net.

I wasn't sure how to set up the net lines at first. What works best for me is to thread one line through each side and then clip them together around the trees with an S-biner. You get 4 10' shock cords but I only use 2 of them. Hope this helps.

My first hammock was the Snug Pack 'Tropical Hammock." Basically, same as you have, but no bug net.

For a cheap hammock, that thing was a beast! I was very rough on that thing, slept in it with my shoes in, it dragged against the ground and brush, and still is in OK shape.

I've since moved on to the much higher quality Dutchware Netless Hammock (2.4 hexon fabric), which for about the same price, is a much better product.

Great little starter hammock. However, from experience, do NOT tie the suspension for the bug net any higher than the suspension for the hammock itself. The paracord is inflexible, and the bugnet is fragile; if you tie the net too high, when you sit in the hammock it will sink and the bug net WILL rip. Be easy with it, and as soon as you can, swap out the hammock suspension for something less stretchy and the bug net suspension for something more stretchy!

My first hammock was the Snugpak Tropical (no net). It's practically bombproof and I never worried about climbing in with my hiking shoes. I've bought several other hammocks since then, but I'll still occasionally toss this one in the day pack and use it on hikes. Many times I just use it as a chair while cooking food or making coffee in the woods.
