SRL Tail, What to do with it?

I have a whoopie structural ridgeline on my hammock, and their is some excess hanging off. What does everyone do with that little tail? I have seen one person tie a loop in the end and hang a lantern, but was just wondering what everyone else does. I currently tie it off to the ridgeline and it just sort of slides back and forth when I move around a lot. Any uses for it or different ideas? Thanks,

If you like where it is set at you can measure it, then turn it into a non adjustable ridgeline. Means no tail to worry about. I leave mine hanging. I made a UCR style ridgeline so the tail is at my foot end of the hammock out of my way.

I stretched out the tail end and knotted it to my ridge line to keep it from hanging. After I was sure I liked the length I cut it off
