    Oregon hanger

Hello all, I'm BD from Eugene Oregon. I've been hanging for a year now, and love it. I'm looking into gear to start overnight hanging out in the wonderful National Forests that surround me.

I'm hoping to learn a lot here, and learn a lot more out in the woods and hopefully contribute to this great community.

I'll see you between the trees!

Welcome to the forum from Far West Texas. Glad you could join us. You live in a beautiful part of the country. Lots of great hanging all around you. You should check out the group hangs that Paul from AHE hosts. It's a bit of a drive for you but you would definitely benefit from attending.

I moved to Eastern Oregon last year, and love the fact that I'm less than a half hour from three different national forests. It's hard to beat the PNW. Happy hanging!

Welcome from Northern Arkansas! It's always great to get out and see the beautiful country around us...and no greater way to see it than in a hammock!

Welcome to the forums. I was born in Oregon but have lived in Nebraska most of my life. This past summer my siblings and I went to Ukiah to camp and spread my father's ashes where he used to hunt near Bear Wallow Creek Campground in Umatilla National Forest. It was an amazing trip. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out there again soon. Again, welcome.

Welcome from WI. I miss Oregon - lived there for 4 years back in the 90's - and the Siskiyou Range down by Medford and Ashland.
