Anyone tried new New LT5 trekking poles as Bridge hammock spread bars?

    Hello!

I love my new LT5 trekking poles, probably the lightest that can fold into 23.5". Will it be durable enough to be used for bridge spreader bars? How to keep them stay under pressure? Any ideas? Thanks.

Haven't used them, haven't seen them in person.

Grizzly Adams used a prior model w/ a wooden dowel inside as spreader bars. That's what I would recommend since they are so lightweight.
