I'm certainly not complaining, it's perfect weather for this trip! But a nice soaking rain would be welcome on this trip so I can break in my new silpoly tarp. Maybe I'll just pull out the garden hose when I get home just for fun
Geez, camp with me sometime. Last 6 trips I had rain. Never enough to ruin the trip, as long as I had my tarp, Kindle and flask!

I do scare away the rain. Sometimes it will rain the first night, just to enjoy the sounds and smells, but then dry for the remainder. I do enjoy a good soaking rain while relaxing under the tarp with my candle lantern, though.Originally Posted by dweckster

It has been rainy! Heck, I never thought to set up the stand out back. Maybe I'll do that today. I know the tarp will work fine, but just wanted to test the less-stretchyness of silpoly.
Or I can head about 3 hours north to get into that 8-12" of wet snow. CRAZY!!!!!
And again this coming week starting late sunday night. Still, not complaining

Yep, that's the kind of weather where any complainer really can't complain. Perfect for being outdoors - not too hot, not too cold, and certainly not wet.
