This is the set that I got from Amazon. 20 bucks.
KAMsnaps Hand Pliers Press Tool w/ Storage Case for Plastic Snaps Size 14, 16, 20, 22, 24 Punch Poppers Button Snap Fastener Press Attacher for KAM Sn https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXL9MQY..._d58JIKaWgVslc

I am thinking that the expensive one is for metal snaps for use on denim.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

+1 for amazon kits. There are several to choose from. Mine was only $15 and came with 100 snaps.

I seen one on ebay from china with snaps included for $19 us free shipping , to those of you that where thinking of moving to Canada ,bring lots of money we are taxed to death up here ,
I got a.tool and 100 snaps from amazon for around $25 USD. worked out well. I've also added a CDT inside my TQ and didn't have a whole lot of issue with keping them together. They are slick as socks on a rooster, and a bit of an octopus to climb inside. Once in, however, they stay together pretty well. And I move around quite a bit in my sleep.
