[QUOTE=tsunamihazardzone;1768814] Curious about the beetle buckles.

The Beetle Buckles, weighing 18 grams per pair (my scales, a Camp 22 biner weighed 23 grams) is strong right out of the gate. I got mine in the mail yesterday and slipped them on Dutch's dyneema straps. Adjusting the strap is easy. The two piece buckle stays in place securely on the straps once the straps are hanging loose.

Although using Kelvar straps with this hardwear is not recommended, I'm gonna try it.
