    Loving this Winter Dream 12...

Just sharing a little Winter Dream'ing... I've really enjoyed this tarp so far with the double pole mod. The space is awesome for this 6'3" camper.
I'm not a gram weenie, so the extra poles are no big deal and still less, much less than carrying my ol' tent.

On this short 2-night hang with a group of Boy Scouts, it was pitched upon a South facing hill with the winds from the N / NE.... Temps low 30's to 40's.. w/ a little rain/snow. So, I pitched it with the N-side down low to the ground and let the poles create a little porch-mode on the down hill slope. Kept the doors shut all weekend and just ducked under the porch side, which also afforded a nice view from the hammock !!

The Flight Jacket TQ from UGQ is also new to me thanks to Santy Claus with the WD tarp. Love IT! UQ is a HG Incubator, also a fine quilt. Hammock currently is a Dutch 11' netless.

I pack a small chair to relax in and set my pack on during the nights, seen in one of the picts.

    Hang on!

Nice. It's always nice to have those doors just in case.

Just took my WD 13' out for a Boy Scout camp out (Scout Skills I) last weekend too. 40s and raining most of the weekend. Didn't really need to shut the doors, but stayed nice and dry and had plenty of room to move about underneath even with the Ridge Runner under it.

I own Hanger 11WB and a Hanger 12, and I just ordered a Winter Dream 12 with the double pole mod to add to my UGQ fleet. I did the double pole mod on my 12x12 DIY Xenon Wide winter tarp, and it is awesome, so I'll be looking forward to trying this new UGQ in a few weeks.

Congratulations on acquiring a very fine tarp.

WD 12' in the winter. 8 degrees over night and about 6-8" of snow. This thing buttons up nice with those snaps. NO wind coming through at all. I have the doors opened in this pic as I was up and about.

The snaps on the doors are awesome, they do keep the wind out and when it's really cold the wind is the worst, really happy with my WD tarp, so much so i have another one on order and shopuld have it soon.

Here's a shot showing all the room underneath for my Ridgerunner when using the interior double pole mod.
