Hey twentybelow, I know I said at the group hang that I would read your trip report. I wanted to let you know, I've gotten around to it. It excites me to know that my turn is coming up so quickly. Due to a scheduling problem, I'm not going to get as much time as I originally thought that I would. I'm going to try and start from the 4155 and try to clear the entire southwest leg of the trail to Hwy DD trailhead in 8 days. Puts my daily average at 21 which should be totally possible. I'm shooting for one resupply at Powder Mill area. Can't wait to do a trip report of my own, been looking forward to this for 5 months.

Twenty Below, I just now saw this trip report for the first time. Really enjoyed reading through it and seeing the photos, too! Makes me want to do a week or two on the trail, though I wouldn’t be covering much ground in that time as slow as I am(!), but just being out on the trail puttering along through a stretch of time would be awesome! I really enjoyed our Bell Mountain loop hike.

Wetfoot310, I can’t wait to read about your upcoming adventure! Good luck!

Mine weigh 3.3 ounces for the pair and have earned a permanent place in my pack.
I know this was over a year ago, but I was hoping you could enlighten me on the shoes you mention. I am looking for some lightweight, packable shoes for water crossings and around camp. Thanks.

edit: Never mind. I just read through the thread. Thank you for the info.
