Time to start thinking about a spring hang! Could be a good chance to test out your rain gear instead of your cold gear. Personally, I'm looking for something different this month. Let's brainstorm some interesting spots.

The weekend of the 15th is my *one* chance in April. As to location....not sure. It would be neat to go somewhere near a body of water (lake, river), just for a change of setting. I know that isn't very specific, but it's a start!

Shawnee would be cool with me but I am heavily biased toward it because it is so close. Lake Vesuvius in Wayne national forest is cool also. Any other ideas?

I'm up for a Shawnee trip on the 15th! Since it's so far south, speak up if there is any interest in carpooling. Tree's You wanna be lead on this? Trailhead location, water situation, trail info? I'll start looking for info, but first hand is always the best!

I just got a better summer tarp, a Tadpole, and spent some time today setting up the CRL and putting shock cord on the tie-outs. I might even be hoping for a little April shower for this hike!
