Next on DIY - Ridgeline Organizer

Having completed my hammock, with removable netting, a 12' silpoly Winter Tarp and round bottom bags to store them in, I decided on today's project. A ridgeline organizer!
Maybe a bit boring but very useful and was made from scraps.
I decided on a smallish three pocket design. Interior pocket from 1.1 silpoly ( waterproof; )) and outside two pockets from nano noseeum. One side is a large single pocket. The other is divided into three. One that fits a water bottle. One for my phone and one for change or my headlamp.
I used 1/2 grossgrain and Kam snaps to attach it to the ridgeline. I like how it turned out!
    Large outside pocket.

    Partitioned pocket.

    Internal pocket.

Will fit my down hoodie, Water bottle, Samsung S5, change and my wallet.

Looks good on the ridgeline too

Everything Looks great. You put a lot of work into your DIY. I love those Kam snaps. That's how I plan on making my organizer. When I find the chance.

Well done. Your trio of variable-height pockets is a cool design feature. Keep up the good work.

Sweet! Great job on the organizer, I like that the capacity of the internal pocket is able to hold the hoodie.

I didn't plan on putting the hoodie in there. While it did work, I would make it larger (longer) if I had planned to do that. It is a little tight.
Perfect for tomorrow's undies and socks though ..

That's a great looking Ridgeline organizer. Very creative. I'll have to copy it once I hone my sewing skills a bit

If I can do it, anyone can!
Its a great beginner project since most of your seams are hidden and you use minimal material. Takes a bit of planning though. ..
    Good luck
