    Yeah it's not that. If I'm just doing a quick test I can still tell. Fine outside or in the basement, not so much in the bedroom. I think there were some times where I was forced to use some pretty close trees, but I don't remember anything about the comfort.

    I dont know how or why, but the suspension *does* make a difference. I hope we never solve this...a mysterious world is a better world.

    For a while I just went without a ridgeline and found it to be more comfortable. But turns out it had nothing to do with that; instead it was simply the hammock itself. I ended up adding a ridgeline anyway and it's about the same. Comfortable, but slightly shorter which is nice for keeping more hammock under the tarp. Plus I have a place to hang stuff if necessary.
