I wonder if they are rushing production for these.... I just recently received my UGQ 20° custom UQ and it had untrimmed threads as well as a mess of down everywhere which was a bit annoying. Things just seemed overall much more sloppy than the last UQ I ordered from them. Don't get me wrong, I still have a nice quilt after a little trimming and cleaning up the house from down.... just seems that they might be sacrificing quality in the name of quantity... or maybe just a fluke? Also, the channels on the quilt ends (where you tighten the quilt around the hammock) I've found frustratingly big. The channel is larger than the cordlock and so my cordlock gets pulled back into the channel making it darn near impossible to pull back out and adjust. I'm not sure if this is a fluke as my other UQ from them was for a bridge and a different design. If it's not a fluke because of rushed production, then it's a poor design IMHO. Would be interested to hear from others that have their UQs.

I just got the massdrop email an saw the deal. If I was in the market I'd definetly pick one up. Less than $200 for a brand new 20° down UQ ? Are you kidding me? I suspect this one will be a major hit!

No problem, in an effort to have a few items ship in our absence last week QC was relegated to the person left in charge. Regardless at the end of the day the buck stop with me and rectifying QC issue is my top priority. We all make mistakes but how they are resolved is just as important as initial QC.

I was wondering what the heck UltimaDOWN was that is used in their quilt. From what I could find on Google, it appears to be a down alternative just so your aware. I don't think it's the real deal which is maybe why they don't show a "fill" rating. Anybody know what exactly it is?
