Linelocks 3 vs Slide Locks

I saw that Dutch has some new (to me) hardware on his site now. I had planned on using some linelock3's for my tarp tie-outs but I just noticed these new Slide Locks on dutch's site.

I was wondering if anyone's used them, or preferably used both and can tell me the differences. Does one hold tighter than the other making it usable with smaller diameter cord? the LL3's say they're usable with 1.5-2.5mm cord, while the SL's say they're useable with 1-3mm cord.

While I would use the linelocks for thicker cord, the slide locks are much better for thin and slick cord. LL3s can slip on 1.75mm zing it. The slide lock is essentially a plastic cinch buckle that pinches down on the line. Also the back end of the slide lock can take grosgrain, cord or even shock cord. It make a no sew option for adding it to tarps. I got the slide locks for my Dutch wire.

Well I haven't used those but in case it helps, I did put LineLoc Lights on my new hammock tarp since it's also supposed to work well with Zingit. Well, the ground tie outs work great but there is simply too much force put on the ridgeline and it slips relentlessly. I ended up having to order some Lawson 2mm to use for just the ridgeline tie outs (split RL, NOT CRL). I'm still using Zingit for the ground tie outs with much success though.
