Dangerous thread.. here's some other items to consider:
Silky Saw (Big Boy @ $60 is a steal)
Superfeet or Spenco insoles.
Get a bunch of S-Biners in various sizes. Not like they ever don't come in handy.
Two pairs of Ex-Officio boxers. That's all you'll ever need for long backpacking trips.
Lots of large brim hiking hats (OR, Columbia, etc.) avail for less than $50, I really enjoy my Bora Bora when the sun is intense.
Wax (
this one) and cotton balls to make a couple 100 fire starters.
Qedertek sells 13ft lights powered by C cell batteries, perfect for car camping.
Sea to Summit Ultra-sil daypack, good as a clothes bag in your pack, nice to have for day hikes from base camp.
Platypus Big Zip water reservoir, or an MSR Dromedary Bag.
All good.. but my #1 rec is
this SAK. Corkscrew for when you're feeling wine? Check. Super sharp scissors? Check. Mini saw that works? Check. Locking blade long enough to slice apples? Check. Seriously, it's perfect for camping, I would replace it in an instant if I ever lost mine.
