Log in issues

Hi

Does anyone have issues with a login timeout? I log in and sometimes life happens and when I come back I'm logged out. It could happen with less then 10 minutes of inactivity.

I check in general settings and did not see an option for auto log out.

Any help with this would be great, this has been goung on for awhile now and it can be frustration, when you lose a post you were working on.

Help me out a bit more please.

You are logging in on your cell phone and after a few minutes you come back and are logged out? Correct. Are you using Tapatalk or the web browser from your phone? Does it happen every time? If so at what time point does it log you out?

It has happened on both cell and cpu, I'll log on and sometimes after typing a post i will hit the post button and it will say that I have timed out, other times I will just be surfing around while logged in, while surfing it will just log me out while surfing, no timeout message, just boots me.

I am not using tapatalk, would this help on cell?

This has been going on since my join date, at 1st i was getting a complex about my typing speed, but I think there maybe other issues going on.

I have just reviewed your account, or what I can as a moderator, and can find nothing wrong with the way it is set up. I will send a PM to the Admins to have them take a look. Give them a couple of days to respond please.

Sounds like you need to click the box near your user ID and password to remain logged in. Here's a screenshot from my phone. It is to the right of the log in button. Probably looks a bit different on the computer.

Yes, just what TallPaul said. If there is no activity for 15 minutes the web site will log you out. If you put a check mark in the box that should salve the problem.

I never even thought to click that little box, just did it, let's see if it works...

thanks for all the help. i clicked and tested button next to the login and all of my issues went away. thanks again for the quick replies...
