    Economy Incubator!

Good afternoon everyone! We are pleased to announce a new product of sorts, an Economy version of the Incubator underquilt. Same Incubator design but on a budget! These new Incubator Econ underquilts use Dutchware Gear’s new Ion Fabric as well as 800 Fill Power Grey Duck Down with a DWR Treatment. We’ve adjusted the fill amount by an additional 10% compared to our 850 Fill Power Quilts. With these changes we’re able to slash the pricing considerably, while still maintaining the level of comfort and durability expected from Hammock Gear. Dutch's Ion fabric is a 30 denier Nylon Taffeta which feels really smooth and looks great. For the moment we are offering them as an in stock item, so go to our in stock page here: http://www.hammockgear.com/in-stock/ and find the Incubator Econ 20 quilts. Be sure to check out the description page for all the product details before you buy, but feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions. Depending on how popular these models are, we will start offering them as made-to-order items. If you manage to get your hands on one, please let us know what you think! If you don't see the temp rating you want, be patient. We will be adding new temp ratings along with Burrows and Phoenixes in between customer orders. By the way, our lead time for made to order quilts is less than a week at the moment, so get in line now!

    Thanks,
    Harry Carlson

    Nice savings.

Will the temp label say "Econ" on it?

Wow! I almost want to buy one just out of curiosity. Nice price...sounds like a no-brainer for car/home campers and maybe even an option for budget backpackers depending on the pack volume.

Interesting... Any plans to offer something in a TQ?
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

This. I am so tempted to get one for a spare to my 10° incubator. All showing out of stock though for me. EDIT: Looks like the black on black is in stock.

What is the negative here? What I am missing? At that price its water resistant down and only 5 oz heavier than a standard Incubator? That is as cheap as full length synthetics. Seems like a game changer, no?

Just a little heavier and less packable right? But I have a 650 down jacket and a 900. Yes the 650 packs bigger, but not a huge difference. So 800 vs 850, and the same temp rating (within reason, I trust HG). Pretty sweet deal.

Hammock Gear better hire some new thread injector operators at world headquarters. I think they are going to be busy with these new economy incubators.

    Cheers

God bless America and HG! My first full length UQ has been ordered. At that price and in my favorite color burnt orange . . . How could I pass this up!
