Worth toting the Boreal! It was a cold cold out there.

I truly liked it. Did not think I would.

You should. I drove 4 hours to get up for a night. Always worth it.

I did linger a wee bit though. So purdy a spot to poop.

The stars were intense! Then the very bright moon came out. I got moon-burn:::::

It worked out great. Needed a new camera spot as my newest camera is a little bit thicker.

Very nice video again, Shug. The only problem I saw is I ended up adding four more items to my wish list!!

Good to see there is still snow up there and snowshoes are not needed. I agree completely with the new online camp site reservation system in MN that has become standard. I think it pushes more people away. As always, nice video!

Thanks for taking us along on your outing. GA has had a poor winter ... I only had frost a couple of time. Seeing your snow was nice.

Very nice Shug Lots of great tips shown off out in the field. Thanks for naming some of the gear you use, that was very helpful.

Appearantly they are not good business folks. For sure will lose some of my business over the long run. But, now I know to do it online before I go. Need to see how picking a site works out.

Maybe that is a good Winter. I'm ready for Spring. Pack always feels lighter then. Less work to camp.

Holy Cow, Shug! That really was a very informative video. It was 26 minutes of enjoyment. I only wish I'd known some of this stuff about backpacking when I was in the military! I spent many an uncomfortable night on the ground and I could've had a much more enjoyable experience. :-)

I've had my Ribz pack for about a year or so and I love it! It's nice having access to my most frequently used items. I like it so much that I sometimes wear it around town under a jacket with the zipper unzipped. It lets the packs dangle and keeps them hidden on each side.

Thanks a TON for sharing this with us. I'm really enjoying your videos and learning a ton. I want to hit the Linville Gorge this spring with my son.

    Gracias, Muchacho!

Sweet trip. Thanks for taking us along. So Shug what does "doing your pully" sp? mean? Also your fingerless gloves - do you have individual fingers to fill them out or how do they work as it looks like you added fingers to them.
