Thanks for the video... lots of good information and cool to see you try different stuff out. I always learn stuff when I watch.

It's a wonder though, winter backpacking. I am cold all of the time. In the house, in the car, outside if it's under 65* ... it is so hard for me to ever be warm for 6 months out of the year. Last weekend, a whole bunch of us went to a beerfest. The temperature was in the mid-20's, and the wind was brutal. It was a bitter cold. I had 3 layers of pants on, 5 layers on my top, 3 hats (which included a balaclava for my face), wool socks with feet warmers and sheraling-lined boots and on my hands, I had a glove liner, ski mittens, and two handwarmers. My body was actually pretty comfortable. But my hands and feet and face just could not get warm... and therefore, the entire me was cold. I am always miserable when it's cold! Luckily the beer warmed me up a bit

All that for me just to say I really wish I could go outside in the cold to have an experience like this! I just know, that even with the proper gear, I just would not be able to get warm. It bums me out a bit, but I can always just watch Shug from the comfort of my warm couch!

I Couldn't make out which Eagles they were right at the end of the video. It looked like Don Henley and Joe S., but could be mistaken.

That was a very proper video, I was glad to spend a half an hour watching. Real nice eye candy Shug As always, Thanks for taking the time and Energy to produce that man. Real kewl.

If it makes you feel better....I don't like to camp in the heat.

Shug. Don't you use an under quilt protector? Figured that'd help with the wind and loss of heat through the bottom. I'm always amazed at people that can get out and camp in the cold like you. I'm such a light and cold sleeper, I'd probably not make it. Lol

Great video as always Shug! I am glad you stayed warm and I think I would have froze regardless of what I brought! You can make it so much fun to watch and learn, and as always, thanks for the time spent to post and share with all of us.
