Yep. she just told me that the area i mentioned before is good, as is the dispersed area off Young road (right off 260). otherwise, we need to rethink out plans.
Could you provide pins? I'm not familiar with those roads.
The lake spot makes me think 500 people... But I've never been there either. Is it a busy spot?

I suggest you rearrange all of your plans so I can go.
Suggestions: There is lots of dispersed camping along the control road. Also the road to the Diamond Point lookout has some neat spots. The road to Young has some good camping as well. Oh and the top of hard Scrabble road in Pine has free disbursed camping.
Good luck to you guys. Wish I could be there.
I know from a prior trip that 139 goes all the way north out to 87. Is that an option?
I'm driving up tomorrow morning to verify a spot.
Ok, just got back from a scouting mission. I verified that a place I camped in December will work and there is plenty of room. I'll update the intro to this thread if it will let me in a minute.
Hwy 260 to FR 504 (it's about a mile west of Heber) and go north 5.5 miles. Turn left (west) on FR 99.
Grab the 3rd driveway on the left. We should also grab the 2nd one as they are close enough together that everyone can have plenty of room yet still walk to the gathering place.

Wish I could make it. That should be a good spot though. I was just a bit west of there on the highline trail this past week. Enjoy the hang and I'll catch you all next time!
