Am I doing something wrong with this ridge line

I have a double nest eno. I did the math which says I should start with a 93.3 inch ridge line.

I sit down and the ridge line sang near will decapitate me. When I see likes shug's for example they all seem to be higher off the hammock. Here you can see where it is as I sit.

I tried adjusting my new whoopies and straps around but can't seem to figure out if just because I'm 6'1" then that's why the timeline seems so low. Any advice would be great thanks.

Shorten it up until it is higher then see how it feels. All you can do.
Don't get too hung up on any formulas.

Am I doing something wrong with this ridge line

You can have a removable hammock ridge line. Set up and get hang angle at roughly 30 degrees--eye it in and or use your thumb and fore finger to check angle--if fore finger is horizontal then the line formed by your finger tip and thumb tip is roughly 30 degrees.
Another way to check--your hammock ridge line should be straight and also bendable with your fingers--when you are in hammock.
After you are happy with your set up--then you can remove your removable hammock ridgeline.
And and and I know some experienced hangers who don't have a hammock ridge line--they have been hanging so long--that they just eye it in!!!
Or you can try my new favorite suspension--Kokomo-no hammock ridge line-it's been moved up to be tarp ridge line and still work as a hammock ridge line but not be in your way. My first YouTube video on Kokomo hammock suspension mainly shows build and not set up or use.
I will have a new Kokomo hammock suspension video out soon--to show set up and use. And ditto Indiana Woodsman--thanks Shug--who actually hikes in and camps--the way it ought to be done.

    Hi Indiana,
The goal of a SRL is to keep the same hammock sag no matter the distance between the trees (suspension angle 15-35 degrees)
So you need to remove your RL and experiment with your hammocks sag until you get the sag that feels the best TO YOU.

Then measure that distance and make a RL so no matter how bad your hammock suspension angle is your hammock sag will be the perfect sag for you everytime. Does that help?

Just eye-balling your pictures your RL is 6-10 inches too long.

Shorter hammocks have lower ridgelines, all else being equal. I believe ENO hammocks are somewhat short. So, it may not be you doing anything wrong.

I have an adjustable ridge line. So I will get it set up again with correct suspension angles and play around with it.
    Thanks.

adjustable RL? smart, good choice. Throw the math out the window get your hammock as comfortable as you can then lock that sag in with your adjustable RL.

If the RL is still knocking your hat off when you are setting in your hammock because it is too low move your attackments farther up the whoopie until it clears the top of your head.
Of course you will need to lengthen it to do that.

Please let us know if that works for you.

So I do not have to have the ridge line loops right at the gathered end? I can make prussiks and attach further up? If so that would be great.

The problem with moving up the hammock suspension is amsteel whoopies are very slippery and prussiks will slip.
A structural ridgeline has to support your weigh plus.

What you might try is use the RL as a guide(once you've found the sweet spot distance for best sag) then adjust your tree straps up or down on the trees until the RL is just tawnt not guitar string tight.
