    The good news is we are about to have the coldest week we've had since early January so hopefully it will rid us of some of these bugs.

    I hear ya on the ticks man! They get real bad in MN where I'm at, central MN is worst in the country for ticke borne illnesses! :-(

    Just saw this on facebook. "2017 is forecast to be the worst year for tick/Lyme disease"...especially bad in the Northeast.

    I ended up finding one more tick, attached, the following morning. He had planted himself about halfway between my belly button and right hip pocket. I wonder where he was hiding after I left the park. I wear a uniform at work, so I had completely stripped and re-dressed, with a quick once-over, after hanging and before work. Oh well. Just one of the hazards of spending time in the woods.

    Lyme's disease is no joke. Had a close friend nearly die before he proper treatment.

    I don't think there was actually a time this winter that we weren't finding the occasional tick on the dogs and cats here in Newnan.
