More Dutch bling on the way...

With our upcoming Sipsey Wilderness group hang a month out, I decided to treat myself to a little upgrade. En route any day now will be a nice shiny new pair of Stingerz w/ black reflect it added! No more fiddle-farting with tarp ridgelines.

I love the reflect it on my Old Man Winter. As clumsy as I am its a must! Lol. I did 3" black reflective shock cord loops with 5' of yellow reflect it off of that for all 6 side tie outs and the 4 door tie outs. I also used 8' of it on each side from panel pull out to panel pull out, and 5' from my trekking pole in the middle to the stake. I also replaced the shock cord and line on my WBBBXLC with the same stuff. Now, when any light hits my area it lights up like a Christmas tree lol. I think I might do my Snugpak 10×10 tarp the same way.

    What a wonderful setting.

One thing that bugs me is the face in the tree on the left, overlooking your camp.

To me reflective cord is essential to find my camp after going for a night walk (to a peak to view stars, for example) or to keep from tripping when returning half asleep from a nighttime pee break. I know its not stealthy but I go for the most likely probabilities.
