Round bag fundamentals (video + calculator + pattern + tips)

I hope everyone has great fun and success sewing round bottoms into your stuff sacks, Black Bishop Bags, foot boxes in your topquilts, zippered bags for your tree straps, or anywhere else where sewing round bottoms will come in handy.

In this video covers all the basics of sewing round bottoms into bags, including how to calculate your basic measurements and how to sew it together. I show you two ways to sew the round bottom (one with and the other without pins). (My sister vouches for the version with pins).

Download the calculator (excel) and pattern (pdf) that I describe in the video at this link: http://jellyfishreport.blogspot.com/...alculator.html

If you have been frustrated with sewing round bottoms into things, hopefully this will help.

I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

I am relying upon you for that, my dear friend. We didn't cover cat curves when I took geometry in 10th grade. Hahahaha

This is the most math anyone will ever get out of me. Lmao
