I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if a ridgeline on this tarp cuts down on some of the sag? It really bugs me for some reason.

I toyed with making one of these but I was turned off by the gutter created due to no ridge seam. I am building one currently and adding a simple standing grosgrain seam cap. Obviously this means the ability to change configuration is lost, but it was a matter of priorities...

Anyone who has one of these and doesn't love it, purchased or made by diy, let me know. I'd like to buy one at a discount as I want one but don't need one by any means so..

I have seen that. However, I just wonder if you asked before ordering they would put the Forest Green in. I haven't decided to pull the trigger so I haven't bothered to ask

Took 3 hours
Was raining the night I built it so I left it setup for 2 rainy days pitched low
Hammock was bone dry
Love this especially for how small it packs down to and the 10 Oz weight

Did you buy the dutchware kit? Kudos on the time to make the tarp, it probably took me 3 times as long.

Have you weighed yours? I wasn't sure how Dutch was able to get the described 10 oz. Mine is closer to 14 oz with a stuff sack.

I got this diy kit to take on the challenge of my first diy tarp. It was an easy project and packs down super small and I take it on every overnight trip as an extra tarp!

I built one from RSBTR. Turned out great. Easiest project ever except a hammock of course.
