    New Website

Hey many of you already noticed we have completely redone our dutchware site. Not only is it shiney and new but for the past three months we haven't been adding anything to Dutchware or MakeYourGear because we have been putting them on the new site. So we have a bunch of new stuff like...

My new fabric, Ion. We have been sending this out to vendors and they are already excited about it. It is super soft and has a tight weave. It is a 1.1 nylon taffeta with really good feel to it. It can be for quilts and hammocks. It also is budget friendly because we bought a lot of it.

Microlite poles. With these new smaller diameter poles, you can reduce the weight of a pole mod by about a half an ounce. It has been hard to keep quiet about these as I have been excited about them.

We have some new one way separating zippers, but we plan on greatly expanding our zipper offerings.

Greg from Haute Hammocks makes some great T-shirts to show off your bling and it was really successful so we added more colors.

It was too much to list, but we have some new and never seen before hardware offerings. I am having lots of fun creating new products with all the different slide locks. Some of the new slidelock work with out Dutch Wire which is only 1mm. We have more coming in but pretty much, if we don't have it, you don't need it.

We were able to add everything from MakeYourGear and you are still able to shop by what you want to make. Now you can get everything from both sites in one shipping cart.

There are many new features of the new site and we will just grow from here. We have spent a lot of time working on it already and you won't see any "under construction" pages. We moved over everyones account but we were not able to move your password because we don't know it. However you will have the ability to reset your password.

Some things may require patience as we are working out the bugs. In the end you will have a much better e-commerce experience.

If you find any issues with the website please let us know by using this form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...wVlIQ/viewform

I figured that's why the website was down last night.

Congratulations indeed Dutch. Site looks great, and from a consumers perspective, having it all available on one site is great.
I know it's not the lightest gear, and it's a lot of stuff, but I use a canoe, so it's a lot like car camping, but without the other cars.

The combo of the two sites is a smart move. I like the interface and things look good but man, it's very slow at the moment. I imagine things will optimize. Could just be my feeling but I felt that the site moved quicker after I logged in.

There is an unbelievable amount of traffic right now. We actually got knocked off earlier because it had more than 1000 users on it.

Website looks great! Definitely would like to have the weights provided and tallied for each item and complete orders.

How you manage to keep it so efficient and customer service oriented, whilst growing exponentially, is mind boggling and very impressive.

    Thank you and congratulations.
