    New Winter Tarp

Just wanted to share some photos of a project I recently completed. This is a 12ft winter tarp with doors made from RSBTR 1.1 Silpoly. I normally use a flat fell seam for the ridgeline but I decided to go with a standing french seam and cover it in webbing.

    Thanks for looking!

That looks really nice! I love the color. Very bright and cheerful.

The ridgeline looks awesome! Is that a 1" piece if grosgrain that you folded in half?

I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

It is, this is the first time I've ever tried it. I wish I could have gotten 1.5 in the color I wanted but only 1in was available. I pre folded and pressed the fold. Took my time and was really careful to cover the existing seam.

    Thanks!

I actually really like the "Olive Yellow", this is my first "bright" color, I've always used blacks and browns for my tarps. I won't be sleeping late with this one

Looks great and a nice tight pitch to it. Do you have slight cat cuts or is this a straight edged rectangle? Couldn't tell for sure in the pics on a mobile.
