Swapping out suspention - BB XLC not the same as BB

I just got a WB BB XLC 1.7 Double.
I was swapping the original suspension for whoopie slings.
I went to the video (See screen shot below).
"Swapping out the suspension on the B..."
    https://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/videos/

    EDIT: See photos below.

The small black loop is attached differently on the BB XLC than the BB.
I assume the small black loop is sewn to the hammock on the BB. The net is not removable on the BB.
On the BB XLC there is 'Hero Loop' like small black loop that is NOT attached to the hammock.

Rather, it is 'hitched' to the suspension and THEN the net cover, or the top cover, are 'toggled' to the small black loop.
So, if you are switching the suspension on the XLC, it is a little different.
The 'Hero Loop' will be completely removed from the hammock during a suspension change over. I would think one would need to pay attention while doing this.

(I hope this has not been covered before, I did search first)
It is a great design, I am just noting the difference.
I do really like this hammock.

    Swapping out suspention - XLC

I'm not sure I'm visualizing this right, but can't you just leave on the "hero loop" and whoopy hook/carabiner it to a whoopie sling? The slings have loops at either end, one adjustable by the whoopie part and one fixed.

Do you have the slings already? Are you just not sure how to attach them? You described how the hammock loop is, but not what your problem is specifically.

I am glad you asked, if I wasn't clear.
Info only. I got the slings on. But, the video applies to the BB not the BB XLC.

The 'hero loop' has to be completely removed from the hammock to change the suspension.
The hero loop is NOT attached to the hammock. It is a connected ONLY to the top cover/net toggle and the suspension.

Undo the top's toggle from the loop, remove the loop from the suspension, and the loop is free completely.
Attach the new suspension around the gathered end, 'hitch' the loop to the suspension, then attach toggle of top to the loop.

Looks like "This post is useless without photos".

    2nd:

    WB_BB_XLC (2).JPG
    3rd:
    Un 'Hitched' from suspension.

Again, let me say. Forgive me if this has been brought up before. I did not find anything in the search.

Use an Amsteel loop to keep it all together and link you the whoopie sling maybe? Hopefully someone on here has an XLC and can share their experience.

I put it all back together. I'm good now.

Are you saying there is something to fix in this set up?
I am only saying that the video doesn't match my XLC.

A few minutes ago, I found this.
    Link.
