Unbearable fiddle factor.

I'm assuming they don't bring bacon?
I'm rather fond of titanium jewelry on my tarp!
Ok I'd like to back pedal my way out of this conversation now. Ive met some great people here and love the forums! You guys have a great day. Sorry for my buzzed typing from bpl forums
I don't think anyone is giving you grief. You certainly are entitled to your thoughts on this, buzzed or not. . I think the OP was just pointing out how different folks view things. No harm. I would say, on the topic, that clove hitches at the stakes are easy, assuming you don't need to readjust too much. I find myself tweaking the tension a bunch on my tieouts. I have a small line lock on each corner, which allows me to tweak the corners to my heart's content without any effort or re-tying. Have a great weekend and get outside!
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!
Well i used to be a purist, just loops cord and knots.
But my latest tarp has beastie rings x2 and lineloks and loop aliens originals, and i am already worried what will fail first lol i just keep saying to my self it will make life eaiser on the trail promise we will see.

There are so many ways to a skin cat that we are all going to do it a different way. If you are getting out in the woods and enjoying all that has to offer, you are alright in my book. The folks at BLP have pushed a lot of boundaries and have improved the way people backpack. I get where Wolfie was coming from and I use a different suspension strategy fro a cuben hex tarp than I do a winter tarp. In the end it is more about what you get out of hiking than what you carry. My only needs are that I need to get out more.

Well Mr Dutch first off ill start off by saying that i love your hammocks. 10x better ride for me over my wbbb. Im pretty sure my original post was geared towards CF tarps. When your paying a premium buck to save weight literally ounces and grams.
I was referring to a couple of YouTube videos i saw when people had a new CF tarp with literally an additional 6-8 oz of shock cord and gadgets planted on something that was purposed to save you pack weight. Once they were done adding they may as well had gone the Sil route.
BPL has completely changed they way i look at gear and plan for extended trips. I can get pretty light in the spring and summer and not too shabby in the winter. Im not knocking your tarp accessories they have their place but just not on my CF tarp.
