VIDEO - Chilling in the hammock and cooking a cheap meal.

After my last trip on the AT I realized that I didn't even get a picture, much less a video, of my hammock! This seemed wholly unacceptable to me. So to pay my retribution I decided to hang in the backyard this past Sunday afternoon; cook up a quick, last minute meal that I threw together due to my dehydrator self-destructing and nearly burning my house down (during a How To video no less), but didn't cook and eat on the trail due to sheer laziness; and post a video of it to my YouTube channel. I talk a bit concerning what I love about my Warbonnet Blackbird xlc and relax while the meal cooks.

It's not often that I seldom do something. . .

Looks like a quick meal for the trail. Look forward to your next video.

It was quite tasty actually. Roger Lamb commented recommending adding mashed potatoes to the concoction. Sounds like a definite "have to try that"

It would probably be good with the foil-pack tuna or chicken as well. Throw in some of Dutch's freeze-dried veggies and now you're really on to something!
