My 20D silpoly Cloudburst had a skylight installed this weekend. A combo of strong winds and pitching my tarp too tight led to the tarp tearing at the panel pull all the way to the ridgeline and the edge of the tarp. Thankfully I had the Spindrift so the snow wasn't too much of an issue. I think I might make the move back to silnylon or give the 30D bushwhack tarp a shot. I loved that evergreen beauty

Just curious, did you have shock cord on your tieouts?

There are few things I hate more than shock cord on my tarp. Can never get it pitched as tight as I want.

Those tarp spreading poles across the top of the tarp would have prevented that. I just started using them and really like how they spread the tarp and I have no lines to work around.
    Bummer about your tear!

I just looked at the WB site and they've added Cloudburst compatible ones since last I checked. When I buy a new tarp I'll have to throw those in. Thanks for the tip!

No edge tarp in poly? Is this going to be an option?
