I'm 6 foot about 250 pounds so I'm no pencil if you get what I mean. Laying diagonally I personally have all the fabric I need. I have a Yukon outfitters hammock and sometimes I feel like that's not wide enough. This one seems just right. this is also my first 11 foot hammock, I wonder if that plays into needing less width.

I'm taking this bird hiking so I wanted to keep it trim otherwise I would have gotten a double. Good news is the top covers and bug nets at the Doubles too so if I get one in the future I may not need to buy a complete set.

Good to hear this. I went back and forth between standard and wide. Ended up going standard width--that was my initial choice (in 2.4).

Ha! It might actually be close to 30deg, next time I'll use the Hangle. :P What you can't see here is myself trying to get the perfect picture with a 25mph wind. At one point the hammock was blown so high up you couldn't see the roof of that brown house on the other side of the fence. No model at this photo shoot.

Backer #9 checking in with a Hunter Green wide w/ Titanium Grey top-cover:

I do like the Chameleon tag...

...and the final shipping Beetle. Warning: it does not hold weight (at all) if the top portion of the strap is attached to a tree and the bottom is loose/adjustable. (Don't ask how I discovered this.)

This weekend I plan on getting some photos with with bug net and with various underquilts.
