First Look: Sea To Summit ‘World’s Lightest Hammock’

If this was 11' long I might be excited. As a big guy I can appreciate the 300lb weight limit, but I am sure it stretches more than I would be ok with.

Anyway, interesting fabric. So light. 4.9oz hammock body!

At 102" x 48" -- or just 3.77 square yards of fabric -- that thing is absolutely tiny... If it were a full-size standard-width hammock (at just over 6 square yards in area) I don't think it would be much lighter than a proven ultralight fabric like 1.0 ROBIC...

Weight does. It include suspension and hammock is 8.5 feet!

This reminds of the the 7 min abs thing from there's something about Mary

Next someone will make a 8.4 foot hammock that weighs less and supersedes

I guess if you like sleeping sitting up it's perfect. Think I'll take a pass on this one.

Wait... It's not the world's lightest hammock... It's the world's biggest hammock chair!
