It's a very detailed writeup and easy to follow. As good if not better than a video because you don't have to pause it. Just print out the instructions.

Agreed. There really aren't any tricky steps that might require a video. However, if/when I make another one this winter I might try my hand at it if anyone needs one. I'm a newb at DIY, so you'll get it from a non-expert's take.

I am almost done with my Gemini. I am making a video of the entire process. I should be finished today and I will have it posted tomorrow. I agree the instructions are great as they are. I started this last week, but have been sick and haven't been able to get it finished. Should have video online in a day or so.

Can I get a set of these?
    They are sweet!!!
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

    Guys,
I did this in two videos. The first covers making Pollux and the second covers making Castor and the basic setup. Thanks again Leiavoia for the great work you did on this design and the great instructional you put together for this UQ. I will be giving my Gemini its test run this weekend in Shenandoah National Park. Can't wait to see how well this works. Anyway here are video links:

    DIY Gemini Underquilt - Part 1 - Making Pollux - https://youtu.be/8bPbJJ64Fgg
    DIY Gemini Underquilt - Part 2 - Making Castor - https://youtu.be/L9dn5GXkzgY

Video quality is not the greatest in places but I hope it will help someone get an idea of what is involved with this project.
    Thanks again!

Thanks Boone. Before you head out you might want to put one extra gizmo on the side of the quilt in order to attach it to your hammock's side pullouts. That will keep it from side shifting during the night. Not all hammocks come with side pullouts, so you might as well take advantage of that. Let us know how it goes. Thanks a bunch.

Is anyone seeing these in Costco stores this year? Last year I didn't see them in my store, but the were available online. This year I don't see them online or in the local store.
