The Donner Party Hike into Damascus on the AT - 7 degree low!

    https://theosus1.wordpress.com/2017/...y-hike-review/

We had a lot of fun, but it was COLD this past weekend.
Low of 7 Saturday morning, all the water bottles froze up, and it only got above freezing for a couple of hours.
But we were prepared and had a great time.

It's not often that I get to wake up, move around in the hammock, and have ice crystals fall on my face. The Taco Wrap hammock worked very well. I did have one problem when I rolled to the right and slept. My breath condensed on the side and made a sheet of ice, which froze the edge of my top quilt to the wall of the hammock.

When I read the title of this thread I thought the hike was gonna turn out bad . I guess history doesn't repeat itself.
