I went with 1.0. I am really trying to keep my pack weight and size down. Of course I haven't tried out a 1.0 yet, but I suspect with my early backer number (and the fact that Dutch ships to Canada 2 or 3 weeks before everyone else so we have everything here earlier) it will be arriving tomorrow or the day after and then I'll let you know.

Only $7000 (or about 21 more hammocks) until the final stretch goal is reached. Of course I am only 5'6" so the wide doesn't seem to be something I am interested in. The other nice thing is that I assume if you were unhappy with the fabric that you would be able to buy another Dutch hammock for not much and all the peripherals should still match up. Although I don't think that would work if you went from a regular to a wide.

Went with the 2.4. I wanted the firmest, least stretchy material. I'm sure it'll still be soft. It's only 3 ounces more than the 1.6.
