Question about tarp/continuous ridge line/snake skins

I just ordered some 12' Mountain Goat snake skins for my Kelty 12 Noah. I hang my tarp off a Dutchware continuous ridge line, will the addition of the snake skins change whether it'd be better to hang the tarp under/over the ridge line?

No you can do it either way.

I have a Kelty 12 as well. As Soul Embrace said, it can be done either way. I used to run my CRL on top, but had to run it under recently when using my tarp during a snow/ice event to reinforce the tarp's ridgeline. I may keep it like that for a while to see how I like it.

The best thing you can do is spend some time "playing" with your setup in your back yard or a local park. Run it over, run it under, get used to deploying and securing your tarp and the rest of your equipment. You will start to work the bugs out of your system and will be able to find out what works best for you, and that will make your actual camping trips more enjoyable.

    Good Luck!

I run mine on top with s-biner's so I can change the direction or attachment point anytime I like with out changing CRL. I just wrap in around the line and pull the skins. So it's up to you, works either way.

I feel I need to clarify that I run the CRL on top of the tarp.
