Free Online College Sewing Course series

This is an online course series on YouTube that is free entitled "FD 50 Basic Apparel Construction"

There are six courses in the series and this is part of the fashion design program.
Lesson one and two are excellent introductions on the tools used and the sewing machine.
Lesson three and four are different seams.
Five and Six cover zippers and get into some of the projects they are working on in the class but still useful even if you don't have the "project" to follow along.

There are lots of good videos out there and by members but this is a professionally produced piece by college level teachers well worth a watch.

PS- two other playlists from the program-again... they can be a bit confusing without the projects but

Excellent, thank you. My 10-yo is extremely frustrated with me right now because she can't understand how I can sew a full-size backpack, but not a Barbie skirt with a pattern.
