It's been a long while since I have been on here. Lots of life changing things have happened, however I have really missed hammock camping. I'm interested in working on a hang in the Staunton/Waynesboro area with a side of tenkara fishing maybe. Who's up for helping me plan something?
I am up in Alexandria VA and spend most of my camping in the Massanutten Mountain. I am interested.

I do both hang and tent camp, Massanutten allows disperse camping so I usually hike until I find a cool view and stretch out there. There is a trout stocked creek along cub run road by Catherine's Furnace. I never did much good there, I have seen others catch rainbow there. My neighbor goes somewhere by Elizabeth Furnace and fishes there but I have not tried that area.
I am more than willing to travel down to Staunton/Waynesboro area, I always wanted to camp around there but just never made it that far south. The furthest south I have hiked is Flagpole knob just west of Harrisonburg. Let me know if you have something in your neck of the woods and I surely will meet you there.

Having grown up in the 'boro, I 'd love to come back for a hang. Unfortunately its been many years since I camped down there so not sure where to go.
