[B]1st Annual Blackjack Crawfish Hang April 21-23
This is the official planning thread for the 1st Annual Blackjack Crawfish Hang
We enjoyed hosting the 1st Annual Blackjack Hang in November so much, that discussion began while there of a Spring hang. Well, here it is folks. We will be hanging in the same spot as the Fall hang but the location will be opened up a bit more with even more space to hang. There truly is no limit to the amount of people we can accommodate. We had 36 at the last hang with up to 42 around the fire on Friday night! If you missed the first one, well.... that's just unfortunate. But if you did, the location is on 300 acres of private family land. There are trails throughout hardwoods and pines if you wish to walk or ride a bike. Now! On Saturday, we will have CRAWFISH for dinner! I don't expect anyone to pay for this. (but I may put out a hat for tips) As always, I am sure there will be plenty of other MEATS being tossed around the fire on both nights as well chili and bean dishes. We will have our little camper setup again for hand washing and emergency restroom needs (again, emergency only). Below you will find several links including several places of interest in our area, the fall hang thread, and the google docs food and kitchen supply spreadsheet. Also, there is a Dollar General approximately 10 minute away and a Wal-Mart the other way if you would like to stock up on groceries when you arrive. If you would like to contact me by email, please do so at [email protected]. If any would like to come in a day early or stay a day late, there is a State Park about ten minutes away with some beautiful hang spots. You can contact me for more information on that if needed. Hope to see you there!
