400lbs of man, dog, muddy feet and muddy paws

Had a relatively nice day here so I got out with my 12' Backwoods Lounger by Cedar Ridge Outdoors. Loaded it up with 400lbs of man, dog, muddy feet and muddy paws. No rips or tears. Love that 2.2 Hex 70 XL by RBTR!!

My friend here graduated from a slow creep into the hammock to a full jump and bounce after eight or so entries and exits.. The structure I was hanging from was protesting loudly, but not a single gripe from the Hex70. I was expecting some small abrasions and or holes from the claws, but could find none upon inspection.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

Looks like it might be time to get your friend his own hammock!
I think if you put his/hers alittle closer to the groud it would be easier to get in and out of for em! i would be afrid of him/her hurting himself like twisting an ankle or injuring a knee.
    But he sure looks happy!

That's great to hear about the dog proof-ness of the fabric. I saw Papa Smurf's video of him taking an object to the Hex70 and it resisting the abrasion, but it's just as good to hear from users who use the fabric in a way that I'm going to.
I'm getting ready to upgrade a friends hammock to the Hex70, primarily because of his long clawed dog that joins him in it. The constant jumping in and out by his dog makes me cringe with the thought of the abrasion that will eventually occur in his current Robic 1.0 hammock. He's not concerned about the weight increase and I never want to see anyone on the ground in something I've made for them. I'd feel horrible, even if they are much harder on it than I warn them

There is no path to my heart faster than a dog in a hammock!!!
    Awesome!
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

Love it, that is one happy K9. Nothing quite like a Lab grin, they really know how to have fun.
