Just got home from my second weekend hang for the year. We stayed at Pine Log State Forest in Florida. Not as cold as predicted--temp down to 43. Stayed warm and slept fairly well in our Twisted Root hammocks & UQs. Used an idea I read about on another thread to improvise a UQ protector for both hammocks from ponchos and tarp grips. My girlfriend is still game trying this new thing with me. Her toes got cold, but that was her only cold issue (tips anyone?). The other problem was noisy neighbors in the public campground, talking with their outdoor voices until well after 4 am. Like they say, you can't always choose your neighbors. Here's a pic of our setup this morning in full porch mode. She was still snoozing away and had put her coat around her feet.
