Its warmer here in Kansas so I have been back on my porch the past 3 nights and hoping the current weather holds.

February hang down! Conecuh National Forest in south Alabama (south of Andalusia). What a hidden gem. Plenty of open campsites left even on a holiday weekend with temps in the 50s/70s. The Conecuh Trail is nice too; well maintained, but there were parts that had recently had managed burn so it was kind of like going through a moonscape. I got to try out my brand new Mag-Gear 10* Underquilt. Really was overkill, but hey, I needed to set it up and try it out, right?

I should be getting another night in tonight!

Good morning from the hammock! We are still lounging and listening to the birds sing their songs. It was ladies night last night, and Ivy slept really well. I think she is getting the hang of it and will be ready to go nature camping by spring, and not just back yard camping.
I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.
February done. Sawyer Pond, NH.
Squeezed in my 11th put of 12 nights last night in my back yard. I was hoping for colder weather but it just didn't happen, so my personal best low temp remains at 21*. I was warm and toasty last night in my 20*set at 40ish degrees. Next month will see me going 12 for 12!
I went tarpless, and it was nice to wake up and see the stars from time to time.
March in the bag! Makes 5 months and this is 3d straight weekend. This weekend staying at a private campground at Cottondale, FL. Temp Friday night down to 36.3*. Saturday night is supposed to be in 40s. Enjoy your weekend all! (Seems I don't know how to post a pic with Tapatalk.)

I just got back from a trip and found this thread and that makes at least 3 threads about a 12 night a year thing. I never felt the original was limited to any time frame and folks are still posting there. So far, I'm at 18 out of 18 months since the first thread started, and unless there is an overwhelming reason, I think I'll continue posting there for the time being. Maybe the mods would consider combining the threads? Is there really a difference? Just asking.
Hobo Off The Ground All Year Round: 8 7
consecutive months since the start, 9/2015 through 11/2022
March down. Short overnighter. Great view of the stars as no tarp was needed.
Got March in this weekend. Hung the hammock at Plum Orchard Gap shelter on the AT. The hikers that spend the night in the shelter were rather concerned about being able to stay warm in a hammock. I figure that I was at least as warm as them, if not warmer.
