Hello from North Central West Virginia

Been lurking for awhile and thought I'd finally drop in and say hello.

I'm sure you guys have heard this before...my sstory is like many others here.

I'm a lifelong camper, had a few experiences with uncomfortable hammocks when I was younger and never considered them a viable camping option.

We found an Amazon lightning deal for an inexpensive hammock setup for my son and started reading about them.

Since then I've learned a lot on the forums, ultimate hang, and Shug's videos.

I ended up getting an inexpensive doublenest clone for myself to see if I would enjoy it and I was hooked from the first night. I still don't have a lot of experience, but I'm already looking at some DIY projects and a better hammock when funds are available.

Im a convert! Thanks to the community for the great resources!

Beautiful country up there, should have lots of places to enjoy your new hobby! Have a buddy from Fairmont and have spent some time going to WVU games. Ask plenty of questions here, none will be stupider than ones all of us have asked at one point.

Welcome, I'm new myself. Eastern Panhandle of WV but grew up over in the Parkersburg area. Well, Wood, Ritchie, and Tyler County at the least. Spent some time in Pittsburgh for college.
