Jarbridge UQ for a tall person?

I am trying to decide on what under quilt to get. I like the idea of the Jarbidge… it is light, warm, simple, and cheap. And as an added bonus, you can annoy the pedantic among us by calling it a JarBRIDGE.

But I'm wondering how good it would work for a tall person. I am 6'3, and I suspect that it would just be too short. I might be better of with something a bit longer.

Have any tall people out there tried one (or a similar length quilt), and if so, what was your experience?

    Thanks!

I'm 6'3"-6'4", 275# and I have a couple Jarbidges that give me ample coverage from above my shoulders to my thighs. I really only use them above freezing. I use a small pad for legs and feet when it's on the cooler side.

Unless you are very short (under 5') you will need a pad under your lower body with any 3/4 quilt. Having said that some have no problem with using a pad for their lower legs and some do. I think it is a great way to get started with underquilts for cheap.

I'm a healthy 6'2", and the Jarbidge 3S is one of my handiest and most-used underquilts. It's affordable, warm, very versatile, and easy to suspend and supplement (with a footpad and pillow) so that a taller person stays warm from head to toe.

+1... I especially like it on my Bridge.... I small foot pad and pillow give me full length coverage... great value... and you can layer them for the winter hangs...
