What is annoying you about your diy project(s).................

That I'm a man, with large hands, trying to sew an impossibly thin and slippery fabric with a bobbin that runs out EVERY SINGLE TIME I only have a few more inches to sew all while spewing out cusswords at the speed of light and yet.......take great pride in the final product after all is said and done......and thanking Jelly at the end of the day for her youtube video's that fuel this addiction. Thanks Jelly!

    That is a legit annoyance/gripe!

I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to pictures of whatever it is that you're making, Bear. I'm sure that the time invested will serve you well.

I've been using much longer stitches lately for Quilt DIY stuff and bobbin seems to last much much longer

Nearly ran out today and "spidey senses" saved me.

New one: when you pull out a scrap of fabric to do some DIY practicing, only to find that since you crammed the scrap in random fashion back into its shipping envelope, it's now so wrinkled that it will be nigh impossible to make a straight cut!

Grr! Every single time my husband approaches me with a half-finished project. He "just" needs me to sew this to that or finish up with those. It sounds simple enough but when the sewer doesn't know what you've handed them and therefor has no clue where they can/can't deviate or improvise nothing ever seems to come out as it needed to. We'd be better off if we both stuck to doing our own projects but let's face it, I prefer to be at the machine. This is an old gripe and one he's heard before but nevertheless my single biggest DIY frustration.

At least he is trying to make stuff. I tend to just get a pile of things to work on. When the pile gets big enough that the cat thinks it is his bed, I get stitching.

Of course, my husband won't even go camping with me, but that is another story.
