    Hello to all.

My name is Jerry living in a RV in Texas close to my daughter and 3 grand kids, as my house is in MO. I like to bicycle tour on my recumbent bikes, and now recumbent trike. Too many health issues to sleep on the ground anymore. I made my first hammock in 2012. I have made 2 more, my last and present one, a double layered gathered end hammock. My two grandson's like to use my other 2 hammocks. They like to pull the sides up over themselves and play pirates.

Anyway, I thought it was time to drop in and say Hi.

    Jerry

Thanks Tony and TrailSlug. My bikes are, Rans Velocity Squared, Lightning Phantom, Actionbent high racer, Catbike low racer, and a Performer trike. I have only had the trike about a week. I hope to go on a camping bike tour of about 350 miles in a couple of weeks. I have to wait for the doctor to release from hernia surgery. So, I guess I'll be hanging around here for now.

Thanks Peppy. Love the avatar. East central MO, south of Washington. I drive down US-63 and US-167 to visit my mother in Louisiana about every 6-8 weeks.

Nice to meet you! I am also incorporating hammocking with my biking. My goal is to bike into state or national forests to camp. I'm a Missouri boy from the boonies near Licking (which is near Rolla).

Hi Rick417. I go through Licking quite often. I use to go to the state nursery for picking up tree saplings. Mark Twain National Forest is a great place to hang. Fort Rucker, I haven't been there since the early 70's.
